FOUNDER'S DAY - 2007

Roane County was founded on November 6, 1801.

This year the county held the initial celebration of Founder's Day on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 7:00 -- 9:00 p.m.

Five "Roane Treasures":
 
1st Civil District:  Lucille Buttram
2nd Civil District: C.S. "Sonny" Harvey
3rd Civil District: Henry Wattenbarger
4th Civil District:  Boyd Woody
5th Civil District: Maurice Greif
 
and one
 
"Golden Treasure":
Mrs. Roxie McClendon
 
were named as the Founder's Day Class of 2007.
