This year's Founders' Day event was held in the Qualls Commission Room on the 2nd floor of the Courthouse in Kingston.  Approximately 90 people attended the festivities this year.

The "Roane Treasures" this year are: 

J. D. Williams (1st Civil District)
Nannie Hopper (2nd Civil District)
Walt Goolsby (3rd Civil District)
Charles Fitch (4th Civil District)
Eddie Owings (5th Civil District)

and the Golden Treasure is:

Nora Church
(Mrs. Church was unable to attend the event)

Cake and Punch were served in the courtroom across the hall following the ceremony.
