Local Artist Chosen to Decorate an Ornament for the State Christmas Tree:

In August, local artist Rose Ridings received a letter from First Lady Crissy Haslam asking her to create an ornament to be used in the 2012 holiday decorations at the Tennessee Residence in Nashville.  Rose had creative freedom in designing the ornament with the goal being to feature what makes Roane County special and unique.  Rose designed an ornament featuring the Old Roane County Courthouse, the Temperance Building, and the renovated Princess Theater.

Congratulations and
Thank you Rose!
